The Constitution explicitly states you must be a minimum of 35-years-old to run for the presidency or a U.S. Senate seat, and 25-years-old to run for Congress. Yet, no boundaries exist for a maximum age to hold office, and while the majority of Americans currently believe that should change, there are few options to address rising concerns. 2024 Republican Presidential Candidate Nikki Haley told CBN News last November, "Let's face it : we've got a lot of people in leadership positions who are old." Haley believes politicians should undergo some sort of health screening, regardless of party.
