On the morning of September 11th, 2001, my husband and I stood on our balcony in lower Manhattan and watched with horror as the second plane flew right over us and exploded into the World Trade Center just blocks away. The plane's impact into the South Tower blew us back into our living with such force that I momentarily lost consciousness.
